APN PATIENTS OF THE CLINICA MAXEÑA

     THESE ARE FEW FAMILIES AND CHILDREN THAT YOUR DONATIONS HELP!
These are special patients.. There are many who we serve.  The first Photo is three special children.  Their MOM, an Epileptic, died in city Hospital, after fall in fire after attack.. She develped Gangrene!  She was a wonderful Mom!    The second child," WENDY"!   She is now five years old and weighs 15 pounds.  She was born in National Hospital by Caesarean at less than 2 pounds, and six months pregnancy, by Casearan.  She has been part of our NUTRITION PROJECT, since brought by government Health center, to our Nutrition Program.   



  Sulamita, was disovered by Nurse Magali.  She is younger sister of our Joven, Ramon, who fell from tree and developed two compound fractures.  Sulamita is developmentally affected since birth.  She cannot walk  or talk.  Magdali was able to have her admitted to a government project for such children.  She can now sit, crawl and smile.  Ramon,s fractures are now healed and he is in the eighth grade as a Dormitory student in our Junior, Senior school, ASINCION!

Maydar is two years old, and has cancer in his eyes.  He is blind and in cancer Hospital in Gustemala City, awaiting further treatment!

Wendy comes from a mountain village, several kilometers from the Clinica Maxeña.  She comes to NUTRITION SUPPORT GROUP MONTHLY.  All the children who have passed consult with our DOCTOR, and found to be malnourished and under weight are given Formula, according to their need.  They do not pay for the Formula or consult with the doctor.  They also receive their medicine without cost at the CLINICA MAXEÑA. Some of the fathers do come to the MISSION to cut grass and chop wood once a month, to help with expense of formula and Medical Care..  WENDY is a Special Child. She was born prematurely, at 6 months pregnancy, in the nearby National Hospital. She weighed ONE POUND EIGHT OUNCES AT BIRTH.  She spent 5 weeks in an  incubator , when her DAD said, "I WANT MY DAUGHTER HOME."  The Doctor from the Government Health Center, ALDEA GUINEALES, 8km into the  Mountains, came with another Doctor, to ask for our Help!  They were aware of our...

30 de JULIO, 2018 GOOD AFTERNOON FRIENDS and FAMILY FROM OUR HOME, AND IN GUATEMALA! I GREET YOUR ONCE MORE FROM THE CLINICA MAXEÑA! I hope this finds all well and content for all our family and friends. It is Monday so the Clinica is busy with patients.  Our Doctor Jorge Castro sees up to 15 patients in the morning, and  others wait until after lunch for consult.  Our Chemical Laboratory is always a busy service. We have received many important Chemical Lab Machines and Reagents. We are also fortunate, with generous donations, from our Diocese Donors, to have an EKG Machine, and Ultrasound and printer. There is a  lot more poverty, unemployment, and hunger in our area.  In our Clinic, we decreased percentages of several workers, so not to cut our budget of Medicines and Charity to patients in 2018..  One of our infant Patients, just left the Operating Room, in the Roosevelt Hospital, in Guatemala City.  Sindy Ajqui Tzoc is 11 months old....
