GOOD AFTERNOON FRIENDS and FAMILY FROM OUR HOME, AND IN GUATEMALA!

I GREET YOUR ONCE MORE FROM THE CLINICA MAXEÑA!

I hope this finds all well and content for all our family and friends. It is Monday so the Clinica is
busy with patients.  Our Doctor Jorge Castro sees up to 15 patients in the morning, and  others wait until after lunch for consult.  Our Chemical Laboratory is always a busy service. We have received many important Chemical Lab Machines and Reagents. We are also fortunate, with generous donations, from our Diocese Donors, to have an EKG Machine, and Ultrasound and printer.

There is a  lot more poverty, unemployment, and hunger in our area.  In our Clinic, we decreased percentages of several workers, so not to cut our budget of Medicines and Charity to patients in 2018..

One of our infant Patients, just left the Operating Room, in the Roosevelt Hospital, in Guatemala City.  Sindy Ajqui Tzoc is 11 months old.  Her first admittance to the Hospital was in October 2017. She had a temporary Colostomy for an abdominal mass and obstruction.  Today was her third operation.  We hope today the colostomy will be closed. The Clinic often uses the town Ambulances to the City for cost of 100 dollars.  We always send one of our workers for accompaniement to the city and hospitals at a distance.  We have very good contacts with Specialists and Hospitals and also Private Hospitals that bring Surgeons Volunteers from the States. A very important Project is in Antigua, Guatemala for Cleft Lip and Palate.  We have assisted other clinics  to help bring this important service  for children from other areas, who do not know of it.

Sindy and her Mom were accompanied for one of our Workers, Francisco.  Francisco accompanies all our patients to Hospitals, Specialists and for X Ray and Laboratory Tests. He stays overnight when need requires.  He went to the City on Saturday with the mom and infant for Abdominal Surgery.  He is returning now by bus.  He will visit them as need in this Hospital.

AGAIN WE WANT TO THANK YOU WHO ARE GENEROUS WITH DONATIONS  AND ALSO PRAYER  FOR OUR WORK AND PATIENTS.

PLEASE SEND DONATIONS FOR THE CLINICA MAXEÑA TO:

THANK YOU!!   HAVE A GOOD DAY!!  BLESSINGS TO ALL.
